Attach the gas cartridge securely according to the instructions.

Which gas cartridges are compatible with the BOXIO COOK?

The BOXIO COOK may only be operated with the following cartridges:

Cartridge type 200 ,
labelled "propane/butane" ,
which meet the EN 417 standard.

Adapter solutions or other cartridge types (e.g., Campingaz 901/904/various system cartridges) are not permitted . This is the only way to guarantee safe, certified operation.

Can I remove the windscreen?

Yes, the windscreen can be removed relatively easily (e.g. for cleaning, see assembly/installation video).

However, the windscreen should always remain attached for cooking to ensure the flame remains stable and the performance is correct.

What pot size fits on the stove and what is the power output of the COOK?

The maximum pot diameter for the BOXIO COOK is 22 cm .

The heating output is approximately 1.5 kW – perfect for coffee, pasta, stir-fries, etc. in everyday camping life.

How many liters of water can I boil with one gas cartridge?

With a 500g propane/butane gas cartridge you can – depending on wind, temperature and pot size – approximately:

Bring approximately 25-35 liters of water to a boil.

Can I cook with the BOXIO COOK inside the camper or the interior of the vehicle?

The BOXIO COOK is not intended for cooking in enclosed indoor spaces .

It should only be operated in well-ventilated but wind-protected areas – e.g. outside under the awning or in an open rear extension.

Important: The ventilation slots on at least two sides must always remain unobstructed.

Which gas cartridges are compatible with the BOXIO COOK?

Mittagstisch und Kaffezeit abgedeckt - check

Hat dieser Jahr 2025 seinen Dienst hervorragend gemeistert. Auch auf Parkplätzen :) Wir finden das Gesamtkonzept mit kompatiblen Boxen ausgezeichnet und haben das Boxsystem auf einem Auszug im Heck eines MB Viano platziert. - Verbesserungswünsche auf hohem Niveau: Piezozünder und flexibler Schlauch. - Weiterempfehlung: 100%

Gutes Gesamtpaket mit mieser Leistung

Ich finde eure Produkte nicht schlecht, aber so ganz ohne "Kritik" geht´s auch nicht. Die Pfannen/Topfgröße ist durch den Windschutz beschränkt, ist aber geschenkt, und geht baulich nicht anders.
Die Leistung von 1500W ist allerdings etwas "dünne". 2300W wie bei anderen Anbietern wäre da durchaus besser. Wenn ich mir morgens in Norwegen einen Kaffee mache, dauert das dann doch etwas. Erst recht wenn die Temperaturen im einstelligen Bereich sind.
Vielleicht geht das bei der nächsten Generation besser.
